Amratlal C. Shah is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. He holds a doctorate in economics and has over three decades of banking experience and has served as the chairman and managing director of Bank of Baroda. Dr. Shah has also served on the board of various reputed companies, such as UTI Bank Limited, Reliance Capital Limited, Jet Airways Limited, S. Kumar Nationwide Limited, Elecon Engineering Company Limited, Gujarat Petro Synthesis Limited, Goldcrest (India) Limited and Gujarat Lease Finance Limited. Dr. A.C. Shah has also chaired several committees on banking, the most recent one being the RBI Committee on the functioning of Non-Banking Finance Companies. |
